Graphic fictions (i.e., comic books) are one of the most critical and accessible facets of pop culture. They document the mythology of the modern age. They are substance and spectacle requiring no big Hollywood budgets or CGI (or exorbitant ticket prices). And, at their very heart, comics hold that one thing we have so much of in youth but strive in our adult lives just to maintain: possibility.
